Two new huts

Volunteers just erected two more quonset huts to expand our housing capacity in our ongoing relief and rebuilding efforts.

Wow, that’s amazing
I was from the Ohio group who tore down the two huts and built the decks. I can’t even tell you how happy I am to see that they’re all the way up already! Good work!
I’m so blessed to have been a part of the work that’s going on down there, I actually quite miss it.
Stay strong, we’re all still praying for you.
wow!! im in that picture!! botton row second from left!! im so glad that i was able to take my spring break and go there!! God really opened my eyes!! even though were home now!! im still pray for ya’ll guys!! and i cant wait to go to school and tell other about how God changed me and what i saw!! well i love ya’ll!!

It’s so great to see this! I had so much fun building these with my youth group. Lakeshore will continue to be in my prayers and I hope that these huts will be put to good use for many future volunteers!

Hey i was so there! im so glad we got the opprotunity to build something to help further the kingdom of God! yay! and to all the volunteers that get to stay there i hope it doesnt break! but yeah love yall!
I am sooo excited! I was also part of the Ohio group and i am extremely happy to see how the huts turned out! Its amazing what we can do with God’s help!
[…] Last month volunteers erected two new quonset huts to expand our volunteer sleeping capacity. We plan to move our existing hut adjacent to the two new ones and add one more. A team of “Mississippi Campers on Mission,” with funding from Mississippi Baptist Convention churches worked here all week building bathrooms in one of the huts and walkways between them all. The new facilities will add 10 showers and 10 commodes to our camp site. We, and all our future volunteers, deeply appreciate the work of these great folks. […]
